HP DeskJet 4152e - Create custom paper sizes
Print on non-standard paper sizes with many HP home and small office printers. Custom sizes must be within the minimum and maximum printing dimensions supported by your printer.

Create custom paper sizes (Windows)
Create new paper sizes in the printer properties menu or in Devices and Printers.
To avoid print quality problems and other issues, make sure the custom size dimensions do not exceed the actual size of your paper.
Create custom paper sizes in printer properties (Windows)
Enter a custom paper size directly from the printer properties menu in Windows 10 or 8.

Load the custom paper into the main tray, and then slide the paper width guides in until they rest against the edges of the paper.

Open the item you want to print, click File, and then click Print.

In the Print window, click Preferences, Properties, or Printer Properties.

Click the Paper/Quality tab, and then click Custom.

Click New, type a name for the custom paper size, select the width and height, and then click OK to save the paper.

Click the Paper Size drop-down menu, and then select the paper size you created.
NOTE:If your printer model does not support the custom size, it does not display in the list. Check the printer specifications for supported paper sizes.
Create custom paper sizes in Devices and Printers (Windows)
Enter a custom paper size in the printer server properties in Windows Devices and Printers.

Search for and open Control Panel, and then click View devices and printers.

Click the icon for your printer, and then click Print server properties.
NOTE:If Print server properties is not available, right-click an empty area in the Printers window, select Run as administrator from the drop-down menu, and then select Server Properties.

If the User Account Control window displays, click Continue.

On the Forms tab, select the Create a new form check box, and then type a new, unique name for the custom paper size in the Form name box.

Select Metric or English as the measurement unit, and then enter Width and Height dimensions. Keep the margin settings at 0.00.

Click Save Form, and then confirm the paper is in the Forms on list. If your printer does not support the custom size, it does not display in the list. Check the printer specifications for supported paper sizes.

Click OK or Close.

Load the custom paper into the main tray, and then slide the paper width guides in until they rest against the edges of the paper.

Open the item you want to print, click File, and then click Print.

In the Print window, click Preferences, Properties, or Printer Properties.

Click the Paper/Quality tab, and then select the paper from the Paper Size menu, or click Advanced to find and select the paper.
Create custom paper sizes (macOS)
Create new paper sizes in the Page Setup or the Print menu depending on available options in the application you are printing from.
To avoid print quality problems and other issues, make sure the custom size dimensions do not exceed the actual size of your paper.

Create a custom paper size from the Page Setup option in the application you are printing from.

Select Manage Custom Sizes from the Paper Size menu to open the Custom Paper Sizes window.

Click the plus sign to create a new paper size.

Double-click the default untitled name to type a unique name for the custom paper, set the width and height, set the non-printable area (optional), and then click OK.
NOTE:Do not use an existing name for the new paper because it overrides the existing preset. For example, if a custom paper size is named A4, the existing A4 paper size is no longer available as a choice.

In the Page Setup window, select the new custom paper size, and then click OK.

Click File > Print to print on the custom paper.
Create custom paper sizes from the Print menu (macOS)
For macOS Monterey 12 and earlier, create a custom paper size from the Print menu in the application you are printing from.

Load the custom paper into the main tray, and then slide the paper width guides in until they rest against the edges of the paper.

Open the item you want to print, click File > Print.
